Sailing down Haderslev FjordSailing down Haderslev Fjord is an extraordinarily beautiful experience. The nature along the 12 kilometres long narrow and winding fjord provides you with a unique opportunity of being very close to a fascinating relationship between water, shore, flora and fauna.

Enjoy your lunch or afternoon coffee onboard the paddle steamer Helene as it sails from Haderslev at 12 Noon and arrive on the island Aarø at 1.40 PM Step off the steamer and stay for a few hours or more - your combi-ticket can be used on the regular ferry back to the main land. The ordinary ferry leaves Aarø at 2.15, 3.15, 4.15, 5.15 and 6.15 PM. The ticket is also valid for the bus between Aarøsund and Haderslev. The bus leaves Aarøsund at: 2.25, 3.25, 4.25, 5.25 and 6.30 PM. Please note that there are fewer bus departures on Saturdays and Sundays.

Included in the price is coffee and a breakfast roll on the trip to Aarø. Then a 45 min guided tour on Aarø and lunch on the return trip to Haderslev.

Facts about Helene
The paddle steamer Helene has sailed on Haderslev Fiord and the Little Belt since 1995
There are two decks - each with their own indoor area. The indoors areas can be heated.
Helene has acces and restrooms for the disabled.
